  1. Globe Trottin' Kids - A Global Learning Website for Students & Educators (globetrottinkids.com) – Globe Trottin’ Kids allows the students to select a country, once they select a country they will be given many different resources that allow them to learn multiple things about the specific country. Once the students have learned about the country there is a “challenge” the students can do that shows what the students learned about. It also provides students with up to 40 other activities for the teachers and students.  (Home, n.d.)
  2. The Global Read Aloud – One Book to Connect the World – Allows teachers to join a reading group with classes around the world. While the teachers and students are reading a story, they make many different connections throughout the world to discuss the story through Zoom or other video chat resources.  There are many different groups to choose from for your students starting with the Picture Book Study Group to the Middle School Book Group.  (The Global Read Aloud, 2015)
  3. PenPal Schools - A Global Project Based Learning Community – Allows students to connect with students from 150 different countries in hopes to make friends and discover the world. There are multiple activities/projects that the PenPals can work on together. These projects include Holidays and Festivals of the World, School Around the World, Facts and Fake News, Robotics, A World of Food, etc.  Each of these projects has over 100 active participants.  (A Global Project Based Learning Community, 2017)
  4. iEARN Collaboration Centre (en-US) – iEARN is made up of over 30,000 schools and youth organizations in more than 140 countries. iEARN allows students to engage in project work worldwide.  There are over 150 projects within this program that can be facilitated to fit the students’ curriculum.   5. Flat Connections | Learning Confluence by Julie Lindsay – Is based out of New South Wales, Australia. It provides projects for students in K-12 across the world. They provide many different projects for elementary students such as Windows to the World, which focuses on developing literacy and online communication skills while connected through the classroom.  Another project they provide is Friends for Sustainability, which focuses on how we live and communicate and global awareness.
