Since I am in my first-year teaching, instead of typing out what my professional interests are I am going to talk about my professional goals.  I will put my goals in order from most important to me to least important.

• Improve the IEP process and fully understand the process of how to hold an IEP meeting and how to implement the IEP within the classroom setting. 
• Help students reach their IEP goals, by learning proper ways to differentiate instruction. 
• Learn strategies for collaborating with families and other colleagues in order to provide my students with the education they deserve. 
• Attend as many online workshops as possible to learn more about special education.
• Read professional book to learn more about special education.
